Lois Hartwig started the Heart of Illinois Bead Society on October 13, 2001. They now have 20+ members and at our January meeting adopted the Bottles of Hope - decorated with beads, of course - as our 2002 community service project. Bottles are given to friends or the oncology nurses at Eureka Hospital for distribution, and we've completed several dozen.
